Quizzes & Climate Change Action

At this point, you should know how to describe evolution and the mechanisms that give rise to population at the population level. You should also know the data surrounding climate change and how these tipping points describe points of catastrophic change within the environment.

This week, we’ll begin quizzes on the diversity of life lab and finish our climate change discussion.

BY THE END OF THIS WEEK, you should be able to:

  • be prepared to take all 9 quizzes over the next two weeks

  • describe climate change problems in details around the planet, and

  • describe the ways in which we can redirect our dependence on fossil fuels to renewable resources.

Your Week Ahead

Day 1: Prep for the Week


  1. I’ll start class with a prep for quizzes and explain the process with how you will take them, then define climate solutions and view earth’s weather data. We’ll use two websites below to assist in our discussion.

  2. After class, you should be preparing for your quizzes!

 

Day 2: Before the Flood


Today, we’ll continue Before the Flood; prepare to begin your quizzes on day 3! We’ll have about 20-30 minutes to prepare for your quizzes.

 

Day 3: Quizzes & Finishing Before the Flood

You’ll have the first 25 minutes to take whichever quiz(zes) you wish, then you’ll finish Before the Flood.
